Benefits for You
A wood heater creates a wonderful ambience in your home that gives the family a place to gather and warm up all winter long. Wood heating is also a cost effective way to heat your entire home. In most rural areas and smaller towns firewood offers the lowest cost energy source for domestic heating.
Environmental Benefits
A wood heater delivers lower cost energy and delivers the smallest greenhouse footprint for domestic heating in Australia. Firewood is a renewable source of energy that, when sustainably managed, recycles carbon from the atmosphere, leading to zero carbon emissions.

Large Homes
For large homes we recommend a convection wood heater with a capacity output of over 250 m².
Radiant Wood Heaters
Radiant heaters heat like the sun. If you can see the heater you can feel the warmth from it, just like standing in the sun. Radiant wood heater are suited for large open areas as you can feel the radiant heat. You don’t have to wait for the warm air to be circulated. The less obstructions the better the radiant heater works (i.e. doors, hallways etc.). Think of warming yourself around a campfire. Due to the direct flow of heat, radiant heaters are IDEAL for open space areas like a cabin, studio room, loft or places with high ceilings.
Convection Wood Heaters
Convection heaters are similar to the heat you find in your oven or hooded BBQ, except instead of circulating around your food, the heat can circulate through your entire home. Convection heaters come as freestanding or Inbuilt/insert heaters. They are designed with a cavity between the firebox and the outer skin. This means that the air in the cavity heats up, expands and rises, drawing more air in from below and forcing the hot air out through the top of the heater.
What Are The Environmental Impacts Of Wood Heating?
Today, wood, as a form of natural energy, is the only sustainable and renewable fuel source for heat generation.
We all need to consider our use of natural resources and the effect we have on the environment. Wood burning in a Wood Heater does not contribute to the 'Greenhouse Effect'. If wood is left to naturally decay, consumed in a natural bush fire or burn in a wood heater, it emits similar levels of CO2. We manufacture slow combustion wood heaters that utilise low emissions into the atmosphere. That's why people like yourself are making the right choice for now and the future with the purchase of a Wood Heater.
