Soak plank in cold water for one hour before starting.

Combine all the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl.

Marinate the salmon fillets for two hours.
04.
Place soaked plank onto barbeque and wait for it to start to smoke.
05.
Brush any excess marinade from the salmon, but leave a bit to carmelise.
06.
Place skin side down on plank and cook for 10-15 minutes or as desired with the hood down.
