Burleigh Heads was the perfect backdrop for our recent Low ‘N’ Slow BBQ Bootcamp, hosted by Triple M’s Merrick Watts and Australasian Barbecue Alliance co-founder Adam Roberts.
Five lucky barbeque enthusiasts showed off their Low ‘N’ Slow barbecuing skills using our Kamado Joe Classics, in an effort to win a holiday for two to the biggest barbeque event on the planet – the World Series of Barbeque in Kansas City.
* Ella C, WA
* Matt L, QLD
* Benjamin D, SA
* Andrew B, VIC
* David D, QLD
Each contestant had to cook ribs, lamb and chicken, and learnt how to do it competition style with guidance from the Australasian Barbecue Alliance. It was a fantastic day out!
And the contestant who impressed the judges’ taste buds the most, was Matt from Queensland. Congratulations, Matt!
